Theresa Murphy, an associate with the firm, practices in the areas of general liability defense, nursing home/assisted living defense, and medical malpractice defense. Prior to finishing her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, Theresa served as a police officer in Gainesville, Florida. She left law enforcement in 2006 to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Theresa has spent most of her law career clerking for judges. She began clerking at the state trial court in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. She clerked at the First District Court of Appeal for nearly seven years.
