Stephen Armstrong is a Partner with the firm and has been specializing in workers’ compensation matters and employment related cases since 1991. With his extensive experience, Stephen provides complete defense strategies to assess and mitigate future medical and indemnity exposure. He ensures all aspects of the Employer and Carrier’s interest are protected. He is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been active in the E. Robert Williams American Inn of Court and the Northeast Florida Chapter of the Friends of 440. Stephen has extensive experience representing numerous state entities as well as clients in the fields of construction, healthcare, hospitality services, education, and logistics.

Stephen was born in Dallas, Texas but grew up in Boulder, Colorado. He moved to Florida after high school, and spent the next eight years working Volusia County Beach Patrol as an EMT/paramedic.  He enjoys surfing, sailing, climbing and skiing. His passion for the outdoors has taken him to countless places across the globe.
