Christopher Ratzel, an associate with the firm, focuses his practice in the areas of general civil litigation and medical malpractice defense. Christopher represents hospitals, healthcare professionals, retail establishments, and individuals in defense of claims involving medical and professional negligence, as well as premises liability. Before joining the firm, Christopher served as in-house claims counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company, where he obtained valuable insight into the analysis and resolution of insurance claims.
Christopher was born in Long Island, New York but spent the majority of his formative years in Bradenton, Florida. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Christopher graduated with honors from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. Outside of work, Christopher enjoys traveling and exploring Jacksonville with his wife, Lauren, as well as playing recreational softball.
